Mite Program 2025-2026

The Lightning Mite Program is the perfect introduction to travel hockey, focusing on skill development and a love for the game.

Full Travel Mites

Practices: Two one-hour sessions per week (September–February)

Coaching: Professional coaching staff

Games:

Mix of full-ice & half-ice games for 2017 birth year

Half-ice games for all other players

20–25 games per season (all on Long Island)

Tournaments: One out-of-state tournament

Mini-Mite Program

Practices: One one-hour session per week (September–February)

Enrollment in the Fall City of Long Beach House League

Games: 8–10 half-ice games (all on Long Island)

Events: Participation in a local jamboree
