About Us

The Long Beach Lightning youth travel hockey program was established in 2009 and serves the youth of Long Beach, NY, and its surrounding communities. Our program is intended for players who already possess hockey skill fundamentals and game knowledge and have ideally completed at least one season of an in-house hockey program. We are a USA Hockey-sanctioned organization and member of the Long Island Amateur Hockey League and the EJEPL. Our teams participate at the Tier II and Tier III levels.
